The Florida Institute of Neurology (FION) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) or APRN to join our growing neurology team. This role involves providing both in-office and Optional hospital-based (For Extra Pay) patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Ideal for candidates who thrive in hands-on clinical settings and are passionate about neurological care.

Work Schedule – Travel

• Full-time: 5 weekday shifts per week
• Full Time Positions Available in: Dr. Phillips, St. Cloud, Kissimmee, Winter Garden, Oviedo, Four Corners

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and physical examinations
• Obtain and review patient histories and medical records
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of neurological conditions
• Order diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT, EEG, and EMG
• Assist supervising neurologists in patient management and care planning
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-ups
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Collaborate with neurologists, medical staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Manage a full daily patient schedule
• Optional for Extra Pay: Participate in inpatient neurology rounds at designated hospitals

Qualifications

• Must be U.S.-trained
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or APRN program
• Active and unrestricted Florida PA or APRN license, or ability to obtain
• Current PA-C/APRN certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (neurology or internal medicine preferred)
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Willingness to travel within county locations as needed
• Bilingual candidates are a plus
• New graduates with a strong interest in neurology are encouraged to apply
